Foundation of Cyber Security

Foundation of Cyber Security is the bases for a security-based IT career. The course combine CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+ courses that are a foundation for Information security to protect computer data, assets, and networks from malicious threats. Being able to troubleshoot, identify and mitigate computer hardware and software issues are the basic skill set that any IT professional needs to have  in his/her tool box.  As a CyberSecurity engineer you will be asked to offer recommendations for solutions in security, knowing the computer hardware and software is a key ability needed by those seeking out IT roles specializing in cybersecurity. Outside of simply identifying problems, being able to architect and design mechanisms for cybersecurity is also a highly in-demand skill set. All of this is learned in the training provided in the Foundation of Cyber Security  course.

CERTIFICATION INFORMATION

After completion of this course a candidate will have the knowledge and skill set to pass Security+ certification. It depend upon each candidate ability to pass a 90-minute exam with a minimum score of 750 (on a scale of 100-900). Your certification expires three years from the date you earn it and must be renewed before the expiration date in order to stay valid.
