The CompTIA Security+ course is fundamental for a security-based IT career. Information security is necessary for protecting computer data, assets, and networks from malicious threats. CERTIFICATION INFORMATION

Security+ certification is dependent upon your ability to pass a 90-minute exam with a minimum score of 750 (on a scale of 100-900). Your certification expires three years from the date you earn it and must be renewed before the expiration date in order to stay valid.
